Friendly Neighborhood Bakery!

 Our sourdough starter was born and raised in our new facility and has been producing tasty, crusty loaves of bread at least twice a week...but it sure doesn't last very long! 

 The Never Forgotten Bakery was created in the summer of 2022, after learning that a beloved local bakery was closing, and after my first attempt to acquire it fell short. Not to be discouraged, having already invested hopes and dreams into the idea of making a drastic career move, I set out to start my own brand, my own bakery, and the NFB was born. 

The name and cardinal logo represent the influences from our past that have help provide the means, skill, or opportunity.  Cardinals are said to be reminders of courage and strength, sent by our loved ones. 

Our mission is to provide fresh, delicious fresh breads and sweet treats; to celebrate the art and science of bread-making; to bring employment and career opportunities to our community; and to honor the recipes from our past by sharing them. 

We proudly offer many of Sunflour Bakehaus's beloved recipes, such as Old World Bread, Swedish Limpa, Bavarian Pretzels, Mardi Gras King Cakes, Cardamom Coffee Cakes, and so much more.

Never Forgotten Bakery purchased the Sunflour Bakehaus in 2022, but had to move the business when we couldn’t stay in our Downtown Farmington space.  We’re at 10 Mile and Orchard Lake Rd, in the former Mrs Maddox cake shop.  It is still within the city limits of Farmington, MI, just under 2 miles from the previous location, with easy car access and ample parking.
